Veterinary Assistant

Weston Veterinary Clinic is now looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. If you are a genuine pet lover, with good communication and problem solving skills, capable of multitasking, have strong attention to detail, have ability to adapt to the situation, with impeccable attendance and punctuality record, then we are looking for YOU!!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all duties related to the care of animals 
• Provide humane handling and restraining techniques.
• Observe animals for signs of illnesses or injuries and reports symptoms to the Veternarian.
• Administer medications and assist our Veternarian as required by restraining animals
• Clean all equipment and work areas to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation. Follows health and safety regulations and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records for animal inventory, health, medications, treatments, procedures and behaviour history.
• Provide excellent customer service, handling phone calls, provide rescue and adoption information.
